The Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail and Landing # EHS-103-R do ship mostly assembled. To set up these steps you will remove them from the box and raise the steps. There are 8 struts that are only bolted on one side of the steps. When you stand up the steps you will bolt the struts up with the 8 nuts and bolts to hold the steps in the upright position. Ideally the gooseneck hitch ball gets centered right above the rear truck axle or sometimes up to a couple inches forward from that point.
